Who are successful people - 4

I am sharing a series of graphics showing who are successful people and what makes them so. My previous and third post centered on successful people who continue to learn more rather than sticking on to their already gained knowledge which may not conform to the requirements of the day and changing business or environment patterns.

How is your attitude towards your colleagues and subordinates when they do something good for the organization or to you? This is what we are going to dwell at today.

Thus my fourth post today centres on people who give compliments to their colleagues and subordinates when they render any assistance or proffer a new idea which may be helpful in solving a problem. This is what the successful people do as against those unsuccessful people who are always bickering and criticising others for no valid reason.

Even complimenting a stranger opens up a conversation and makes new friends. It even sparks creativity in people being complimented. But remember compliment people - but do not flatter as it may leave a person overjoyed beyond a point which may make one proud and over confident.

So always be forthcoming in complimenting others, for its leaves a refreshing impression on others, which may in turn help them work more being refreshed by a pat of filip on their shoulder - rather than being demoralised by undue criticism.

Who are successful people - 2

A few days back I shared a graphic representation of people who are successful. Success has many facets and shared just one in my previous post.

Success specially for managers and entrepreneurs is a must without which they cannot exist or face their contemporaries. Unless they know the secrets behind success, they just cannot survive the rigours of the marketplace and are sure to doom.

With this analogy in mind, I shared the first graphic representation of successful people: They want others to succeed and help them doing so, rather than pulling their leg from down below for them to fall to create a vacuum for them to fill in.

Today, I am sharing the second trait of successful people:

This is something that relates to their character traits: They take the responsibility when something goes wrong, rather than blaming others and trying to get away. Those who take the blame, rise above others, both in the eyes of their employers and their subordinates. While the second kind is caught one day and are dishonoured.

I hope you would like to be in the first category and let your character tell who you are!!

Who are Successful People - 1

This world is about successful people only. Be it business, politics or anything else - it is those few successful people who have changed the canvas of the world scape and made the difference.

What makes people successful anyway? I came across a few figures showing what makes some people successful and gives them an upper edge over the others. I shall be sharing these couple of dozen figures one by one so that newbies take time to absorb the idea and learn how to be successful in anything they do.

Here is the first one:

Noticed the thin line difference? The successful people help others to succeed - while the unsuccessful people are always trying to make the successful people fall - rather than concentrating their energies to succeed.

Always remember: Strong people do not put others down - they lift them up !!

This is the first one - wait for more four more reasons that make people successful.

About: Your Potential

By: Dung Hoover

What are you heading to do about your long run? Yes, I asked you.!!!. what are you heading to complete with your long run? When the present comes, will you go with the flow or swim against it?

Occasionally undesirable items transpire to all of us. It truly is inevitable that in an economically, politically and socially unstable world, there will be pain, uncertainty, heartache and horrible events. You need to expect bad issues to occur but that does not mean that your lifestyle is heading to be 1 large tragedy. That goes to say, that every single of us need to aspire to reach beyond what we are.

The stunning point about being in the present moment is a single can make choices which will elevate her to her best everyday life yet. Your previous, lady, is your previous and there's nothing you can do to change it, reverse the actions or something. Concentrate on what you wish in foreseeable future and work toward those objectives. Last night I was listening to a pastor and he talked about the Law of Sowing and Reaping. If you desire a vineyard, you are going to plant grapes right? Or would you plant melons? The same theory applies in every department of our lives; in financial, relational, health... you name it! My new objective is to become healthy and to have a gorgeous, powerful body and so I have embarked on a 'get healthy' trip. The initial thing I needed to try and do was sort out the bad habits and get rid of each, 1 day at a time. I also psyched myself up mentally for what was about to unfold so that, given a few moments of weakness, I could spring back on my feet once more. Then I had to uncover a custom made exercise and nutrition plan, and stick to them. It is not an straightforward factor to perform, but every single week I get little, measurable benefits which add onto building the final outcome. By June next year, I should have the benefits I desire, as lengthy as I stick to my original plan and am persistent.

Anything you want to construct will consider time, patience and determination. Bear in mind that ANY choice you make will add onto your final outcome in everyday life. Should you Pick to invest most of your weekends partying with people who are not even determined, then your dream of meeting organization men and women, of discovering a hobby or of even starting a part-time shoe making organization (lets just suppose), will never avail to much. These are the words of an individual who has experienced it so please consider my candid advice, I am only trying to aid. We all need to become on the path of achieving our innate desires, but when we refuse to accept who we're and to move in our own path, we grow to be frustrated, which eventually breeds a cycle of destructive habits since we're wanting to fill the void. In case you discover yourself in this situation, consider some time away from everyone and everything you know, and assess your existence. Write down what you wish and make tiny, measurable targets, which may be attainable weekly. Take a stand for who you're simply because when you usually do not, you are going to wake up one day, 40 years old, feeling dead as a dog. Usually do not let that be you and if it can be you, it truly is in no way too late to TRY Once more.

A Secret to Success practice it Now

By: Don OConnell

Imitating successful people, is one secret to success. Be aware, though, if you ask them for help. Regularly, people don't really understand why they succeed, but they will give you as many theories, as you want, anyhow. One evening on the news, I saw a 100-year-old man, saying that, smoking a large cigar, daily, was one of the secrets, of his long life. It maybe useful, to understand why he has lived so long, but I'm quite certain, we won't know, by asking him.

Secret To Success - Study Successful People

One secret, then, isn't in doing, what successful people say, but rather doing, what they do. This is how to understand success. Of course, you have to focus well and implement, a little mind power, to realize, what they are actually doing, that is giving them success.

A successful real estate developer, once told me, that he didn't believe in making goals. Nevertheless, observing him and listening to him, I started to realize, that he knew just where, he wanted to be, with his projects in one year. This, is obviously, goal-setting, he just called the method, something different.

Never stop listening to what successful people, are saying, but pay attention, to all details. Listen for insight, into how they think about things, how they go about, their goals. Suppose the tip of a successful basketball player, is just to train more, but he casually suggests, "I saw that going in," after a great shot. Isn't it time to begin, visualizing your shots going in?

Secret To Success - Copy Successful People

You won't always understand, what is making a person, successful. Internet marketers, promote their websites, by exchanging links, but when I first tried to exchange links with other websites, the owners didn't reply, to my emails. Then I discovered, a simple email letter, used by a successful internet marketer, to get me, more back links. It sounded stupid to me, and I wanted to edit it, but I tried it anyhow. It worked regularly.

It is crucial, to do the right things, than to know, why they are right. To also understand is great, but at the beginning, it might be best, to just copy many of the actions, attitudes and approaches, of somebody, who is successful. Try to copy success, even before you understand it.

As you gain more knowledge, you can drop those parts, that aren't working, and add parts, of your own. If you copy a successful parent, for example, and life with your kids, improves, does it matter if you know, in the beginning, which changes were the most productive? Obviously, not.

Is it better to know why, what you are doing, is working? Surely, but you may not ever know, why some things work, and this is, all right, too. It is better to have success, than to explain it, so seek successful people and do what they do, not what they say. It is a vital secret, to success.

Be more Aware, to Stare Success, in the Face!

Successful Managers – What Do they Do?

Everyone has a desire to excel and be successful. But the way up to the hill is rather a difficult climb, replete with stumbling stone, overcast weather, vanishing trails and shortness of breath. Only those who know how to climb a mountain can finally reach the summit. Remember, no one can run up to the summit – it has to be done very slowly as an faster pace would leave you out of breath and you will tire out even before taking the start. So learn to be successful slowly and gradually – there are no shortcuts.

Successful people are in simple words very productive. They are smart, focused, productive, attentive and dedicated. For their positive attitude, they are liked, paid handsomely and promoted at a faster pace than the rest. They are generally the people with an aura of charisma which attracts colleagues, workers, co-workers or even their seniors to be attracted to them and listened to. When it comes to clients, the clients prefer them over dull, slow moving, unimpressive sellers, devoid of energy and drive. They are the people who have the ability to lead rather than manage, which is what is required of successful men – taking the sinking boat of the storm and not letting an iceberg hit the Titanic.

Now, while not everyone can be successful, YOU can be. How? It is very easy. Follow some of the following steps and put your feet on the first ladder of success:-

  • Learn – Learn your job, be master of what you are technically or literary. Unless you know you are master of what you should know, you cannot start. So be proficient of what you know and if you think something is missing, don’t hesitate to ask. The more you know, the less stress you would have and would take less time to grasp a given situation and come out with a solution.
  • Manage your time – don’t get yourself into wasting time by scratching your head or reading tons of reference books to find a solution to a problem. Be quick to solve a problem rather than lingering on and wasting not only yours, but others time as well, wasting resources and causing distaste. So if you have been able to manage your time well, you will feel more confident, and have greater sense of achievement and accomplishment.
  • Select someone as you role model – that someone should be someone who is what people call a successful man. Learn what, how and why he does and analyze each step he takes and draw pertinent conclusions for yourself. You don’t necessarily be copying him as it would not suit your personality but still you can learn and eradicate your weakness and strengthen your strong areas.
  • Take timely and decisive decisions – This is the most important thing that elevates someone over the others. And that is what others notice and prefer. While making decisions, be very clear what is that you want to accomplish and how. The clarity of your decisions will make your co-workers understand clearly your mindset and will find easier to follow you. Committing to your decision and taking action on it is one of the most important qualities towards being successful. Those who are vague in their approach, have cold feet while taking decisions are generally time wasters and inefficient. Gain mastery over methods and techniques of Time Management – since this coupled with sound decisions will see you through to the ladders leading to success.
And as you move up the ladder, you will feel your self-esteem rising too, making you more confident, productive, focused and successful. And this what successful people are all about.

Time Management

We often find people who complain lack of time to complete their work, their assignments or even reach their goalposts. This is mostly so with the managers at various tiers of the organization. Higher the ladder, more of the complaints. While it is true that in this competitive corporate world, there is more strains and challenges on the managers to remain competitive both within and without, but successful managers seldom complain of lack of time since they know the art and mastering of time. This is time management and unless one has manage one’s time well vis-à-vis one’s goals and workload, one is bound to complain of lack of time.

The solution? – Well the solution will depend how you view your job, your assignments and the capacity of challenges you can face. As said before “time deficit” can only be avoided if one becomes an expert in time management. In order to face the challenges, perhaps no other skill is as important or as rewarding than if one has grasped the essentials of time management.

The successful managers believe that “Time cannot be saved, it can only be spent.” So it is the spending of time that matters. Spend your time very efficiently and wisely to be truly productive. Those who plan their work logically and methodically or so to say using the 10/90 principal if 10% of the total time is spent on fore planning, one can save 90% of the effort later needed to accomplish the task. So remember the 10/90 principle and apply it while doing anything in your life.

And if we just look around and observe the activities of very efficient and effective colleagues (those who are generally envied by the lethargic and less efficient workers), we will find that they have all the time for themselves for laughing, meeting people, having lunches and dinners – not because they are “wasting time” rather they have “saved time” by efficiently managing their activities vis-à-vis available time to enjoy life as well. The time management not only makes them efficient and high value managers for the organization, it also affords them time to take their families out on picnics and outings.

Experts say that “Developing time management skills is a journey.” One has to begin making small leaps, learning or perhaps imitating styles of others, then gradually enlarge one’s vision by putting to practice lessons learnt by stumbling down and yet getting up. One must set goals – initially very short term, and even breaking these into various benchmarks based on time. And try to achieve the benchmark by due date or time. Initially it may not be possible, but by and by one learns to achieve the optimum. One should also priorities: what is to be done first and what can be relegated to a later timeframe. Normally people get bogged down in wasting time on non-essentials rather than focusing on the essentials and priority goals.

Even one should use one’s free time wisely rather than just lying idle. And this means reviewing what has been done, analyzing it coolly and working out antidotes for the mistakes. Unless one sets aside time for review and analysis, taking up next assignment by committing earlier mistakes would be of no value.
